February’s Blog – Feed your Soul

Something that I started to do for the past couple of years is to choose a word that will help me to focus on my personal growth.  I assess where I am and where I want to be, then I choose ‘the word’ that will help me to get where I want to be.

Last year I chose ‘calm’ as I was at a stage in life where I would get upset when I allowed my thoughts to reflect on past moments.  And this really helped me to control my feelings and emotions when I was upset or angry.  I have learnt that having a calm mind is the ultimate weapon against challenges.  The calmness that I manifested allowed me to trust in my faith, knowing that God will guide and protect me to the greatest victory. The year 2020 has taught me that patience is necessary as it aligns you with the perfect timing.

This year my word is ‘truth’ as I want to remain grounded and authentic to my true self.  I want to be reminded to live my truth to feed my soul.  I want to be reminded to stay true to who I am for me.  I want to be reminded to pay attention to my feelings and what feed my soul, so that I am living my true purpose in life.  I want to be reminded to stay true to my values, so that my worth is not discounted.   “Truth is high but higher still is truthful living” Unknown.

“Your life is not static.  Every decision, setback or triumph is an opportunity to identify the seeds of truth that make you the wondrous human being that you are.”  Oprah Winfrey. We are almost 2 months into the New Year, but it is not too late, choose your word or affirmation for 2021 to grow into your true self.

Live your truth to feed your soul.

Sending you love always and forever
