When you fail at something and remain defeated, without trying again you are surrendering to failure. When you fail at something, you take it as a lesson learnt and make another attempt in your efforts to succeed, this forms part of your goal towards your stepping-stone to success.
I have learnt to trust my journey in life because it is through the failures and challenges that I have learnt the most. I learnt what I can achieve through focus, dedication, and hard work. Failures are often opportunities in disguise, for me it is the higher power putting me on my right path.
It is through failures that you get to learn your guiding principles to take you through life’s journey. Essentially the lessons learnt are what will guide you towards making better choices in the hope of achieving your dreams and goals. So, I see failures as my stepping-stones to propel me to the next level of my growth and steps closer to achieving my life goals. And Ciara’s song ‘Level up’ is playing in my mind as I write this blog.
I am no longer afraid to fail. Through my experiences of failure, I have gained the most knowledge and wisdom. I no longer dwell on what others will think of me when I fail, as we all have the liberty to voice opinions, but these are not a guide to building one’s self-esteem.
I aim to do my best every day and if today my best was not good enough for me, I try again tomorrow. I am now my own cheerleader and I am welcoming and thankful for the all the people who have and continue to support me through life’s challenges.
Let your failures be your stepping-stones to elevate and give you the inspiration to keep rising back up even when you are feeling defeated and discouraged. Remember you have only failed when you quit.
What we learn through our failures, we must share so that we can help each other to rise. “One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide.” Brene Brown

Wonderful blog post on developing a sustainable attitude for fulfilling our divine purpose. “Let your failures be your stepping-stones to elevate and give you the inspiration to keep rising back up even when you are feeling defeated and discouraged. Remember you have only failed when you quit.” – profound and inspiring statement.
We may fail at first, but so did Thomas Edison, Walt Disney and Sir James Dyson. They eventually found a way to succeed, and not settled for the excuse of failure. They grew to be better rather than wish the situation were easier.
